If you have an EX5R...

Disassembly instructions can be found in the Owner's Manual on page 285.

Turn the EX5R over so it is on it's back and remove the six screws on the left and right sides of the case (three each side). Turn the EX5R back over and remove the four screws on the top surface located at the front of the unit just behind the front panel lip. Remove the seven screws on the rear panel, two on each end and three along the top. Remove the cover by sliding it away from the front panel until it clears the main body of the EX5R.
